Fraser Valley Academy of Dance, under the artistic direction of John C. Carney, offers superior dance training with specialized focus on classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre.
The Academy provides students with varied training in classes throughout the year in the Classical Ballet School, Musical Theatre School, Children’s Choirs, Pre-Professional Academy, and Summer Programs.
With a teaching staff of professionally trained former dancers, as well as teachers with international diplomas in Performing Arts and Teacher Training, the Academy offers students an exceptional opportunity to achieve their highest potential, resulting in over 80 invitations to ballet company schools since 2013.
Since July, 2008, Fraser Valley Academy of Dance has been owned by John C. Carney, Artistic Director, with his wife, Carolyne Carney, as School Administrator. The Academy offers superior dance training with specialized focus on classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre.
