Born in Donetsk, Ukraine, Miss Olena began her dance training at the local Ballet School. She continued her studies at the Kharkiv Ballet College, and danced with Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre for four years.
In 2004, she joined the Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine for a season before moving to Egypt to join the Cairo National Opera House for two seasons where she danced numerous leading roles.
After short period in Poland, Miss Olena moved to Canada to join Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada for seven seasons before she decided to concentrate on teaching, a new and exciting page of her artistic life.
Her repertoire includes Sugar Plum Fairy (Nutcracker), Shakherezada (One Thousand and One Night), Queen of Dryads (Don Quixote), Trio of Shadows (La Bayadere), Rosalinde (Romeo and Juliet), Christine (Phantom of the Opera), Countess (Figaro), Cordelia (King Lear) and many others.
During her career years, Miss Olena performed in the Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Switzierland, Belgum, France, Norway, Greece, United States, Egypt and Canada.
Miss Olena performed in FVAD’s Nutcracker in 2008 and 2009, dancing the roles of Louise and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
