SHOWCASE PRESENTATION – Friday, AUGUST 21
FVAD Ballet Intensives offer students an opportunity to expand on their dance training with exposure to professional performance skills such as balletic mime, stage make-up and choreography. Students have a wonderful opportunity to work directly with choreographers, experiencing first-hand the creative process that is involved in the development of dance, in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Our summer intensives enable students to train with former professional dancers and internationally-trained teachers, strengthening technique and enhancing artistry. Classes include Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern Theatre Dance, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary Ballet, Character, Dance History, Balletic Mime & Acting, Repertoire, Floor Barre, and Choreography. Class selections may vary per intensive.
Private and semi-private lessons are also available during intensive weeks for students wishing to learn a classical, contemporary, jazz or modern solo to take back to their own studios for their upcoming competitive season, or simply to improve their dance quality and repertoire.
