The Summer programs provide the essential training over the long summer break to ensure students retain their dance fitness and enhance their performance techniques.
The Academy provides 6 full weeks of summer programs offering:
Ballet Intensives offer students an opportunity to expand on their ballet training with exposure to professional performance skills such as balletic mime, stage make-up and choreography. Students have a wonderful opportunity to work directly with choreographers, experiencing first-hand the creative process that is involved in the development of dance.
Dance camps and workshops provide a fun and creative environment for younger students to explore movement, musicality and dance-related arts and crafts.
Daily Dance + Dance-Fit Bootcamp weeks are offered with daily drop-in dance classes and Bootcamps. High Intensity Interval Training, PBT Conditioning, Stretching and Floor Barre combine to create progressive training to enhance dance fitness for dance students.
Private Lessons provide the option for specializing coaching in private or semi-private lessons in any offered dance discipline chosen by the student. Students may also create their own class groups with friends to have a student-choice lesson.
Each of our programs brings children together to enhance their training in a fun, challenging and nurturing environment, developing new skills along with new friendships!
All Summertime students perform for family and friends at the end of each week.
Students have an exceptional opportunity to be trained by an international staff of former professional dancers, as well as certified teachers with national diplomas from full-time performing arts and teacher-training colleges. Learn more about our teachers.
For out-of-town students, we can recommend hotel accommodation at the Best Western Plus Mission City. International students, or any student wishing to stay with a host family, please contact us for Homestay options.
