Academy Classes

Students may enter the Academy program at any level, starting with our Ballet 2 level.

Students are individually invited to attend Academy Master Class with Mr. Carney for additional training.  Upon enrolling in the required classes for each level, invited students are then enrolled in the Academy Program.

Students in all Academy levels perform in the Nutcracker in December, the Surrey Festival of Dance in the Spring, and our Annual Performances in June.

Academy classes include audition preparation, behind-the-scenes at ballet company schools, the life of a professional dancer, and many more aspects of the classical ballet and contemporary dance world.

Academy students receive extra guidance in their training learning advanced skills such as mime and artistry as well as furthering their technique, plus classical ballet history, audition preparation and choreographic development.
