Rates & Fees

At our Academy, we have no hidden costs: no required costume fees, no required choreography fees, no required rehearsal fees. All costs for participating in performances throughout the year are included in tuition, or listed up-front in our School Rates & Fees.

Class Tuition Rates and School Fees 2026-27

All costs for participating in our annual school performances are covered by us, including costumes and rehearsals.

Summer Rates & Fees 2026

Tiny Tots Daily Dance Costs:

• $50 per week (5 classes)
• $12 for 1 hr class

Junior Dance Camp Costs:

• $175 per week (half-day session)
• 50% payable upon enrolment; balance due July 1st.
• Single class options:
  • $45 for single half-day

Dance Intensive costs:

• $495 for the full intensive week
• 50% payable upon enrolment; balance due July 1st.
• 10% discount for multiple weeks applied after enrolment
• Single class options:
  • $26 for 1 hr;
  • $35 for 1.25 hr;
  • $39 for 1.5 hr
  • $125 for a day

Private Lesson costs:

• $100 per student per hour
• $50 per student per half-hour
• $50 per student per hour for semi-private (2-3 students)

Additional Notes:

• Rates exclude taxes. Fees are due upon registration.
• Discounts do not combine.  Either a family discount, multi-class discount, or multi-week discount will apply.
• Fees are refundable if cancellation received in writing at least 30 days prior to session start.
• For cancellation within 30 days of session start date, only 50% of fees are refundable.

What has changed for 2026-27?

• Summer dance camp and intensive rates have not been increased.
• School year weekly tuition rates have not been increased.
• Merchant surcharges of 2.4% continue for all credit card payments.
• Discounts do not combine.  Either a family discount, multi-class discount, or multi-week discount will apply.
• We are now using Activity Messenger for our studio system.

How is Tuition Calculated?

Tuition for each class is calculated based on the actual number of those classes in the school year, ensuring that families only pay for actual class time, and never for holiday closures.  This provides a more accurate and fair tuition for every family through the year.

Discounts apply for multiple classes, from 4% off for 4 classes up to 48% off for 15 classes.

The calculated annual tuition is then optionally scheduled as 10 equal monthly payments from September to June.

• Students enrolled on Mondays have fewer classes in the year and so pay a lower tuition.
• Months with holiday closures are charged only for the weeks with classes. 
• Students are not charged tuition during Nutcracker Production Week unless their class is in session.

How are customers’ rights protected?

• All fees and costs must be presented in advance and in detail. 
• You must know and agree to exactly what you are paying for, and its final cost, before you can be required to pay.  This is especially relevant for goods and services being provided in the future, or with deposits.
