s-antonBorn in the Ukraine, Mr. Anton Lykhanov began dancing at the age of four. While training at the Kharkiv Ballet School, he danced at the Kharkiv Children Ballet Theatre and performed in the Ukraine, Russia, Spain, France, Austria, Egypt, Taiwan and Japan. During that time he danced numerous leading roles, including Prince in “Cinderella”, Nutcracker Prince, Prince in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, Cipollino in “Tale of Cipollino” by Gianni Rodari and many others.

In 2000, Mr. Lykhanov continued his studies at the Kharkiv Ballet College, and joined the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine at the same time.  In 2004, he joined the Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine.

s-anton1In 2005 he moved to Egypt to join Cairo National Opera House for two unforgettable years of new life and work experience. Mr. Lykhanov then moved to Canada in 2007 where he danced with Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada for five years before his retirement in 2012.

His repertoire includes Nutcracker Prince (Nutcracker), Jester (Swan Lake), Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet), Magdavia the Head Fakir (La Bayadere), Fool (King Lear), Figaro (Figaro) and many others.

During his career years, Mr. Lykhanov performed in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, France, Austria, Greece, United States, Taiwan, Japan, Egypt and Canada.

Mr. Lykhanov was a guest artist in FVAD’s Nutcracker in 2008 and 2009, performing the role of Karl and the Nutcracker Prince, and joined FVAD in 2014 as ballet teacher.
