Kathleen Molendijk

Miss Kathleen started dancing at the young age of 4 years old and is trained in various styles of dance such as ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and modern. 

Her interest in ballet quickly grew, and she delighted in performing in ballets such as the Nutcracker in her youth.   She trained at Fraser Valley Academy of Dance for several years, while in high school and after graduating.  She was also a class assistant and later an occasional substitute teacher at FVAD.

After studying ballet for 22 years, Kathleen’s passion for dance grew into a passion for teaching.   She continued her formal studies with the Royal Academy Of Dance, obtaining her Teacher’s Certificate in 2017. 

Miss Kathleen is an instructor at various locations across the lower mainland and is excited to share her time and talent with the students at FVAD.
