Register for school year 2026-27

It’s time to register for the new school year 2026-27!  We’re so excited to welcome you all!

Join us for Ballet, UK contemporary, ISTD Modern, ISTD Tap, Broadway Jazz, Pointe, and Variations, plus RAD exam coaching and Festival entries.

Registration opens Saturday, May 30th.

We thank you all for your patience as we continue our substantial transition from the studio management and ticketing systems we used for 16 years, to the Canadian platform Activity Messenger.

There is still much to do, but the basics are set up and ready for enrolment now.

Please review the video below for a short introduction to the registration form, memberships and skills, and how to filter to your classes, find your child’s class level(s), and enrol in your classes.

Enrol for 2026-27

Drop-in Classes

• Drop-in classes for 2026-27 are open for level 8-12 classes, and will be added on demand through the school year.

Academy Classes

•  For 2026-27, we return to the set-class requirement for our Academy Program.
• Students are invited into the Academy program by the Artistic Director, as shown in their Skills list.
• Each Academy level requires a certain set of classes to be taken before final approval is given for enrolment in the invited Academy class.
• Academy classes will be entering group dances into local Festivals.
• Students eligible for Festival solo entries and private Festival coaching must be in the Academy program.

Festival Entries

•  For 2026-27, we will be entering solo and groups in Ballet, Broadway Jazz, and Contemporary.  More styles may be added.
• Additional details regarding eligibility and requirements to be considered for the group dances and/or solo entries will be provided separately in the next few weeks.

Private Coaching

• Summer private lessons are planned Mon-Thu, 4pm-8pm, plus additional daytime hours July 20-24 and August 24-28.
• School year private lesson options will be available shortly
• For now, request your private lesson at the link above, and we’ll contact you to book your time.
• Coaching options include private lessons, festival coaching and RAD exam coaching.

RAD Exam Coaching

• We are re-introducing RAD and ISTD exam options from 2026.
• This summer, we are offering individual RAD exam coaching, primarily with Ms Edgley who was an RAD faculty member for many years at the RAD headquarters in London, England.
• In the school year 2026-27, we will be offering an 8-week Oct-Nov group exam session followed by a 12-week Jan-Mar group exam session for levels 5 and above.

• Students not enrolled at FVAD are always welcome too!
• More information will be shared soon about our exam programs.

Adult Classes

• Always wanted to dance? Looking to refresh skills? Join us for an Adult Class!
• We plan to continue Adult Classes in the summer, Mon-Thu, 6:45-7:45pm.
• Choose to enrol monthly or just drop-in for class when you can.
• Adult Classes for July and August will be online shortly.
• Adult Classes for 2026-27 will be added during the summer.
