Ballet Kelowna Workshop 2026

Join us on Wednesday, March 25, for a wonderful Ballet Kelowna workshop at FVAD consisting of a ballet class followed by the exciting opportunity to learn repertoire from the company!

Ballet Kelowna offers a two-hour ballet workshop for dance students ages 12 and up. The class is taught by either a Company Artist or the Rehearsal Director. Students will experience a traditional ballet class structure, enhanced by the instructor’s professional insights and expertise. The workshop will also include an opportunity to learn repertoire from Ballet Kelowna’s Macbeth.

Instructor: JOANNA LIGE, Ballet Kelowna Rehearsal Director

Joanna Lige is a graduate of the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, a RAD Registered Teacher, a Certified Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor, a member of the Council of Ontario Dance and Drama Educators, and a member of the International Association of DanceScience and Medicine. Ms. Lige grew up in Kelowna and has trained with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, The Banff Centre for the Arts, Peggy Baker DanceProjects, and SITI Theatre Company.
