Royal Winnipeg Ballet School - Professional Division Audition 2016

Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division is an internationally renowned training institute for aspiring professional dancers and dance teachers.  As such, it is essential that students who represent our Academy at the audition are an appropriate level.

FVAD students eligible to audition must be pre-approved by Mr. Carney.

Students ready to represent the Academy at such an audition will receive notice from the office in advance.

Students who have not been contacted but would like to audition for the RWB Professional Division must first contact the office for approval in order to audition as a student of FVAD.

Founded in 1970 by celebrated teacher and former RWB Company Principal Dancer David Moroni, C.M., the RWB School Professional Division offers classical ballet training based on the Russian system and supported with a full program of study in complementary dance forms. This results in versatile dancers and dance teachers with the ability to find meaningful employment in their profession. The rest is history, as witnessed by the long list of Ballet Academic, Aspirant and Teacher Training Program alumni who have gone on to perform, choreograph and teach dance in Canada and around the world.
