FRASER VALLEY ACADEMY OF DANCE604-826-0097

News Updates and news from the academy

Closure extended to May 1

March 31, 2020

We hope that everyone is managing as well as possible through this rather surreal situation in which we find ourselves.

As we follow our government’s announcements, it seems clearer every day that our current restrictions are unlikely to be lifted for some time yet.  Even if some restrictions are eased during April, our type of business will not likely be in the first ones allowed to re-open.

With this in mind, we are now planning on a May 1st re-opening, and will adjust from there as needed.

For our school families, this means…

  • No payments will be processed in your accounts on April 1st.
  • All April charges have been removed – or will be removed shortly for those which need manual adjustments.
  • April classes have been cancelled in your accounts.
  • Online pre-recorded classes can be accessed for free!
  • Online live classes are coming next week!

As things are changing daily, we may suddenly learn that we can re-open.  We will be ready for that day, and will be so pleased to have all of our students back with us as soon as we are allowed.

In the meantime, we must all be prepared for the next month.

On a positive note, we are adding more in-studio class videos daily, and will offer live online classes starting next week! Stay tuned for more details.

  • View our “FVAD Classes” gallery at https://fvad.ca/video-gallery/
  • The newest videos are displayed first.
  • Refresh your browser window to be sure you see the latest videos.
  • FVAD families will find the access code in their email, or contact us.

You can also stay connected with us on Facebook and Instagram (@fvadance) where we are posting daily.

We wish you all the best over these next weeks.

Take care, keep active and stay well at home!
