FVAD visited by Mayor, Council and EDSC

We hosted a visit at the Academy today by the Mayor, Council, & the Economic Development Select Committee, to discuss local business opportunities & growth challenges.

To gain a stronger understanding of the local business environment and the associated opportunities and challenges local businesses are currently facing, the Economic Development Office coordinated a business tour in the Downtown Core for Mayor and Council and the Economic Development Select Committee, an advisory body to Council made up of local business owners and managers.

Our Academy was selected to participate and we gladly agreed to host the visit, providing an overview of our business activities, as well as a discussion around business opportunities and growth challenges.
